There are a few ways in which you may be able to increase your levels of glutathione and potentially protect your skin from sun darkening. These include:

  • Eating a diet rich in antioxidants: Foods that are high in antioxidants, such as fruits and vegetables, may help to increase your levels of glutathione.

  • Taking supplements: Some people take supplements that contain glutathione or its precursors, such as N-acetyl cysteine (NAC), to try to increase their levels of the compound.

  • Getting regular exercise: Exercise has been shown to increase levels of glutathione in the body.

It's important to note that while increasing your levels of glutathione may help to protect your skin from the damaging effects of UV radiation, it is not a replacement for other sun protection measures, such as wearing sunscreen and protective clothing. It's also worth noting that the research on the effects of glutathione on skin health is still limited, and more research is needed to fully understand its role in this area.
